Property Litigation Paralegal required for our Colchester based legal client working within their well-established

property litigation team are a small and friendly team. This property litigation paralegal a role is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress with their legal career and could be a great opportunity for a conveyancer seeking a new career path. In your role as property litigation paralegal, you will be handling a wide variety of property issues and therefore if you have knowledge and understanding of conveyancing your experience can be used to progress further in this legal role within a fantastic company who can guide and support you with your career.

The Role        

• Working under the supervision of an experienced property litigation team
• Handling a variety of commercial and Residential Property Landlord and tenant matters
• Dealing with Boundary disputes, Possession claims, Restrictive covenant disputes and Adverse Possession Claims
• Dealing with First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and County Court proceedings
• Ensuring all communication is dealt with professionally and records are maintained
• Office working hours 9-5 with flexibility of 8-4 or 10 – 6 plus one day allocated to study a week

The Person

• Ideally possess experience of contentious work is not essential but some experience of property law or conveyancing would be desirable
• Experience of or an interest in some if not all of the areas of law the team advises on
• Self-motivate individual who can build strong client relationships
• Driven and highly motivated with a positive outlook
• Able to work independently as well as being a team payer
• Friendly and caring attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer care
